Growing up in the Western Cape of South Africa, inspired by the surrounding beauty of both land and sea, I sketched and painted from an early age.

My paintings here depict a few favourite haunts, some farther afield: St James, Hout Bay, Camps Bay, Scarborough, Cape vineyards, Cape Agulhas, Hermanus, West Coast, Arniston, Cederberg, Namaqualand, Drakensberg, Limpopo and the Karoo.
